Steven Kostanski - Psycho Goreman, The Void, The Divide (2021)

Psycho Goreman seems to already be a massive success. With countless positive responses to a film that was supposed to drop last year, PG seems to have found its audience thanks to a COVID-related delay. If you grew up weeding through the catalog titles of your local video store then this film is definitely up your alley. While I had a few issues with the film, it's a difficult one to not enjoy.

I tend to be a fan of pretty much anything the Astron-6 alum have their hands in, and PG is no exception. I had a great time talking with director Steven Kostanski, and I look forward to seeing what he brings to the table next. IMDB lists him as finishing up a Day of the Dead series, so with the tone I've grown to love, I can only hope that those episodes deliver the same charm and flair that the Kostanski name carries.

Considering the b-movie vibes of the Psycho Goreman, CineDump thought it was only appropriate to include our buddies over at The B-Movie Film Vault for this one! Jordan and his team are doing the Lord's work, and I couldn't be happier to find any excuse to cross paths. Big thanks to our friends over at The Vault for being a part of this otherworldly interview!

Psycho Goreman is now available courtesy of RLJE Films and Shudder on direct-to-VOD since its release in theaters on January 22, 2021. The film is 95 minutes long and remains unrated.
