Richard Brake has been on my radar since 2005 when he was in Batman Begins. I can't quite put my finger on why attracted me to his style, but with his proven track record, so apparently, I'm not the only one that took notice. I caught up with Brake a few years back at Texas Frightmare, a horror convention that takes place in Dallas, and at the time we only spoke about Game of Thrones and 31.

I hate to say it but I didn't watch Chainsaw 2 until 2017. I think the issue was that I loved the first one so much that I didn't want the sequel to ruin that for me. Well, it wasn't until Shay, my girlfriend and lover of all things Chop-Top, persuaded me to FINALLY give it a go.

The tour offers a blend of popular celebrities from the hottest television shows and movies, combined with well-known comic illustrators and artists. The tour also features vendor booths for shopping, celeb and artist panel discussions, gaming, tattoo artists and even speed dating for those of you who are single and ready to mingle!

Chad Archibald is one of those guys that has been on my radar for a while. He continues to churn out rewatchable classics, and because of which he is someone I wholeheartedly respect and admire. My first glimpse into his world was a few years back.

We recently attended the Power Morphicon Express in Pasadena, Texas, and while we were making our way around the convention I noticed a very familiar face. It took me a second, but eventually, I was able to pinpoint the memory. For those that don't recognize the name, don't feel bad, Mike was ONLY a huge part of your childhood.

Dave and I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone, and by the time we decided we had had enough of each other, it felt like I was talking to an old friend. And when I say old, I mean old! Only kidding, Dave.

I remember it vividly. The trailer packed a certain racy punch that had been lost over the years, and something about this one screamed classic sex romp. I was turning 17, and the plan was to see The Girl Next Door in theaters that Friday night.
