Colorado MotorSport announces the official release of Driven by Dreams

Colorado MotorSport announces the official release of Driven by Dreams, a father-and-son motorsport documentary premiering August 14, 2026, on Tubi.

The film follows Craig and Zach Lumsden as they compete in some of the world’s most demanding races, offering an unfiltered look at Colorado MotorSport, a privately funded American team racing internationally without factory backing.

Craig, an experienced driver, competes alongside his son Zach, a rising talent building his own path in motorsport. Together, they face extreme terrain, mechanical failures, financial pressure, and the emotional challenges of racing as a family.

Driven by Dreams follows the team through Dakar-style rally raids, the Baja 1000, Rallye du Maroc, and the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Competing against factory-supported teams with significantly larger budgets, the Lumsdens rely on preparation, resilience, and a shared commitment to succeed.

The documentary captures more than race-day action. Viewers are taken behind the scenes to witness mechanical setbacks, high-pressure decisions, sponsorship challenges, international logistics, and the personal sacrifices required to compete at the highest level.

“I wanted to focus on the people behind the helmets,” said director Joseph Osorio. “Craig and Zach are managing far more than competition. They are balancing business pressures, international racing, and the emotional stakes of pursuing this dream together as father and son.”

While motorsport provides the backdrop, Driven by Dreams is ultimately a story about legacy, sacrifice, and believing in yourself when the odds are against you.

The film officially premieres on August 14, 2026, on Tubi. Follow the official documentary webpage for release updates, screenings, interviews, and additional information: https://drivenbydreamsdoc.com/
